Title: Materials Data on Li4AuS4 by Materials Project

Abstract

Li4AuS4 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Fddd space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li1+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to five equivalent S+1.75- atoms. There are a spread of Li–S bond distances ranging from 2.35–2.81 Å. Au3+ is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent S+1.75- atoms. All Au–S bond lengths are 2.54 Å. S+1.75- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Li1+ and one Au3+ atom.
