Title: Materials Data on Sm4Pt by Materials Project

Abstract

Sm4Pt is Iron carbide-like structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of eight Sm4Pt clusters. Sm is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Pt atom. The Sm–Pt bond length is 2.70 Å. Pt is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Sm atoms.
