Title: Materials Data on Na by Materials Project

Abstract

Na crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of four sodium molecules and one Na framework. In the Na framework, there are two inequivalent Na sites. In the first Na site, Na is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Na atoms. All Na–Na bond lengths are 3.06 Å. In the second Na site, Na is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four Na atoms. All Na–Na bond lengths are 3.43 Å.
