Title: Materials Data on Sc3As by Materials Project

Abstract

Sc3As is Uranium Silicide-like structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sc is bonded in a distorted see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent As atoms. There are two shorter (3.01 Å) and two longer (3.07 Å) Sc–As bond lengths. As is bonded to twelve equivalent Sc atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing AsSc12 cuboctahedra.
