Title: Materials Data on SmMnIn by Materials Project

Abstract

SmMnIn is hexagonal omega structure-derived structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P-6m2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sm is bonded to six equivalent Mn and six equivalent In atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing SmMn6In6 cuboctahedra. All Sm–Mn bond lengths are 3.26 Å. All Sm–In bond lengths are 3.26 Å. Mn is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Sm and three equivalent In atoms. All Mn–In bond lengths are 2.62 Å. In is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Sm and three equivalent Mn atoms.
