Title: Materials Data on PdPtAu by Materials Project

Abstract

PtPdAu crystallizes in the trigonal P3m1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pt is bonded to six equivalent Pt, three equivalent Pd, and three equivalent Au atoms to form PtPd3Pt6Au3 cuboctahedra that share corners with three equivalent PdPd6Pt3Au3 cuboctahedra, corners with three equivalent AuPd3Pt3Au6 cuboctahedra, corners with six equivalent PtPd3Pt6Au3 cuboctahedra, edges with six equivalent PtPd3Pt6Au3 cuboctahedra, edges with nine equivalent PdPd6Pt3Au3 cuboctahedra, edges with nine equivalent AuPd3Pt3Au6 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PtPd3Pt6Au3 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PdPd6Pt3Au3 cuboctahedra, and faces with six equivalent AuPd3Pt3Au6 cuboctahedra. All Pt–Pt bond lengths are 2.85 Å. All Pt–Pd bond lengths are 2.78 Å. All Pt–Au bond lengths are 2.91 Å. Pd is bonded to three equivalent Pt, six equivalent Pd, and three equivalent Au atoms to form PdPd6Pt3Au3 cuboctahedra that share corners with three equivalent PtPd3Pt6Au3 cuboctahedra, corners with three equivalent AuPd3Pt3Au6 cuboctahedra, corners with six equivalent PdPd6Pt3Au3 cuboctahedra, edges with six equivalent PdPd6Pt3Au3 cuboctahedra, edges with nine equivalent PtPd3Pt6Au3 cuboctahedra, edges with nine equivalent AuPd3Pt3Au6 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PtPd3Pt6Au3 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PdPd6Pt3Au3 cuboctahedra, and faces with six equivalent AuPd3Pt3Au6 cuboctahedra.
