Title: Materials Data on CsLa3 by Materials Project

Abstract

CsLa3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cs is bonded to twelve equivalent La atoms to form CsLa12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent CsLa12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent LaCs4La8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent CsLa12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent LaCs4La8 cuboctahedra. All Cs–La bond lengths are 3.88 Å. La is bonded to four equivalent Cs and eight equivalent La atoms to form LaCs4La8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent LaCs4La8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent CsLa12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent LaCs4La8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent CsLa12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent LaCs4La8 cuboctahedra. All La–La bond lengths are 3.88 Å.
