Materials Data on In by Materials Project
Abstract
In is Copper structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. In is bonded to twelve equivalent In atoms to form a mixture of face, edge, and corner-sharing InIn12 cuboctahedra. There are four shorter (3.31 Å) and eight longer (3.43 Å) In–In bond lengths.
