Title: Materials Data on Nd2CuS2O by Materials Project

Abstract

Nd2CuS2O crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of one Nd2CuS2O ribbon oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Nd+2.50+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one S2- and one O2- atom. The Nd–S bond length is 2.70 Å. The Nd–O bond length is 2.14 Å. Cu1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent S2- atoms. Both Cu–S bond lengths are 2.08 Å. S2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Nd+2.50+ and one Cu1+ atom. O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Nd+2.50+ atoms.
