Title: Materials Data on SrClO by Materials Project

Abstract

SrOCl crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to three equivalent O and four equivalent Cl atoms. All Sr–O bond lengths are 2.51 Å. There are one shorter (2.99 Å) and three longer (3.07 Å) Sr–Cl bond lengths. O is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent Sr atoms. Cl is bonded in a rectangular see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent Sr atoms.
