Materials Data on Ta4CoP by Materials Project
Abstract
Ta4CoP is Khatyrkite-derived structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mcc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ta is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Co and two equivalent P atoms. Both Ta–Co bond lengths are 2.59 Å. Both Ta–P bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Co is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Ta and two equivalent Co atoms. Both Co–Co bond lengths are 2.51 Å. P is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Ta and two equivalent P atoms. Both P–P bond lengths are 2.51 Å.
