Materials Data on Ca by Materials Project
Abstract
Ca is Magnesium structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ca is bonded to twelve equivalent Ca atoms to form a mixture of face, edge, and corner-sharing CaCa12 cuboctahedra. There are a spread of Ca–Ca bond distances ranging from 3.87–3.96 Å.
