Title: Materials Data on NaPt by Materials Project

Abstract

Pt(Na) crystallizes in the hexagonal P-6m2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na is bonded to six equivalent Pt atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing NaPt6 cuboctahedra. All Na–Pt bond lengths are 2.95 Å. Pt is bonded to six equivalent Na atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing PtNa6 cuboctahedra.
