Title: Materials Data on HIN2 by Materials Project

Abstract

N2HI crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. N is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one H1+ and four equivalent I1- atoms. The N–H bond length is 1.29 Å. All N–I bond lengths are 2.46 Å. H1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent N atoms. I1- is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent N atoms.
