Title: Materials Data on Be2Co by Materials Project

Abstract

Be2Co crystallizes in the orthorhombic Fmmm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of four Be2Co ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Be–Co bond lengths are 2.20 Å. Co is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Be atoms.
