Title: Materials Data on NdIn3Pt by Materials Project

Abstract

NdPtIn3 crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3n space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Nd sites. In the first Nd site, Nd is bonded in a cuboctahedral geometry to twelve equivalent In atoms. All Nd–In bond lengths are 3.47 Å. In the second Nd site, Nd is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt and twelve equivalent In atoms. All Nd–Pt bond lengths are 3.49 Å. There are eight shorter (3.42 Å) and four longer (3.48 Å) Nd–In bond lengths. Pt is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Nd and six equivalent In atoms. All Pt–In bond lengths are 2.72 Å. In is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four Nd and two equivalent Pt atoms.
