Title: Materials Data on K2HgAu by Materials Project

Abstract

K2AuHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two K2AuHg ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. K is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Hg atom. The K–Au bond length is 3.07 Å. The K–Hg bond length is 3.65 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent K atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent K atoms.
