Title: Materials Data on CeNd3 by Materials Project

Abstract

Nd3Ce is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded to eight equivalent Nd and four equivalent Ce atoms to form NdCe4Nd8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NdCe4Nd8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent CeNd12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent NdCe4Nd8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent CeNd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent NdCe4Nd8 cuboctahedra. All Nd–Nd bond lengths are 3.63 Å. All Nd–Ce bond lengths are 3.63 Å. Ce is bonded to twelve equivalent Nd atoms to form CeNd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent CeNd12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent NdCe4Nd8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent CeNd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent NdCe4Nd8 cuboctahedra.
