Title: Materials Data on CaZn3 by Materials Project

Abstract

CaZn3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ca is bonded to twelve equivalent Zn atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing CaZn12 cuboctahedra. All Ca–Zn bond lengths are 3.07 Å. Zn is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Ca atoms.
