Title: Materials Data on YScHg2 by Materials Project

Abstract

YScHg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two YScHg2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Y–Hg bond lengths are 3.09 Å. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Sc–Hg bond lengths are 2.90 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Y and one Sc atom.
