Materials Data on Cr3H by Materials Project
Abstract
(Cr)2CrH crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two Cr sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction and two CrH sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. In each Cr sheet, Cr is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Cr atoms. All Cr–Cr bond lengths are 2.25 Å. In each CrH sheet, Cr is bonded in a square co-planar geometry to four equivalent H atoms. All Cr–H bond lengths are 2.25 Å. H is bonded in a square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Cr atoms.
