Title: Materials Data on Ac3Zr by Materials Project

Abstract

Ac3Zr is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ac is bonded to eight equivalent Ac and four equivalent Zr atoms to form AcAc8Zr4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent AcAc8Zr4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent ZrAc12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent AcAc8Zr4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent ZrAc12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent AcAc8Zr4 cuboctahedra. All Ac–Ac bond lengths are 3.76 Å. All Ac–Zr bond lengths are 3.76 Å. Zr is bonded to twelve equivalent Ac atoms to form ZrAc12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent ZrAc12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent AcAc8Zr4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent ZrAc12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent AcAc8Zr4 cuboctahedra.
