Title: Materials Data on EuCdPt by Materials Project

Abstract

EuPtCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Pt atoms. There are a spread of Eu–Pt bond distances ranging from 3.15–3.17 Å. Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Eu and four equivalent Cd atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Cd bond distances ranging from 2.84–2.88 Å. Cd is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt atoms.
