Title: Materials Data on Na2SnO6 by Materials Project

Abstract

Na2SnO6 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3 space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of three Na2SnO6 sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Na is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent O atoms. There are three shorter (2.46 Å) and three longer (2.48 Å) Na–O bond lengths. Sn is bonded in a distorted octahedral geometry to six equivalent O atoms. All Sn–O bond lengths are 2.06 Å. O is bonded in a trigonal non-coplanar geometry to two equivalent Na and one Sn atom.
