Title: Materials Data on MgCr by Materials Project

Abstract

MgCr is Tetraauricupride structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mg is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Cr atoms. All Mg–Cr bond lengths are 2.92 Å. Cr is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Mg atoms.
