Title: Materials Data on Yb3Pa by Materials Project

Abstract

PaYb3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pa is bonded to twelve equivalent Yb atoms to form PaYb12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PaYb12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent YbYb8Pa4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PaYb12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent YbYb8Pa4 cuboctahedra. All Pa–Yb bond lengths are 3.66 Å. Yb is bonded to four equivalent Pa and eight equivalent Yb atoms to form distorted YbYb8Pa4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent YbYb8Pa4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent PaYb12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent YbYb8Pa4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent PaYb12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent YbYb8Pa4 cuboctahedra. All Yb–Yb bond lengths are 3.66 Å.
