Title: Materials Data on Yb3Pb by Materials Project

Abstract

Yb3Pb is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Pb atoms. All Yb–Pb bond lengths are 3.53 Å. Pb is bonded to twelve equivalent Yb atoms to form a mixture of corner and face-sharing PbYb12 cuboctahedra.
