Materials Data on Ba2AgHg by Materials Project
Abstract
Ba2AgHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2AgHg ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag and one Hg atom. The Ba–Ag bond length is 3.32 Å. The Ba–Hg bond length is 3.73 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
