Title: Materials Data on Ba2CdGa by Materials Project

Abstract

Ba2CdGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2CdGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Ga atom. The Ba–Cd bond length is 3.77 Å. The Ba–Ga bond length is 3.20 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
