Title: Materials Data on Y2OF by Materials Project

Abstract

Y2OF crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of one Y2OF ribbon oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one O and one F atom. The Y–O bond length is 2.03 Å. The Y–F bond length is 2.24 Å. O is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. F is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
