Title: Materials Data on Hf2MgRe by Materials Project

Abstract

MgHf2Re crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgHf2Re ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hf atoms. Both Mg–Hf bond lengths are 3.27 Å. Hf is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Mg and one Re atom. The Hf–Re bond length is 2.28 Å. Re is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hf atoms.
