Title: Materials Data on ZrCdPt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

ZrPt2Cd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ZrPt2Cd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Zr2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Zr–Pt bond lengths are 2.36 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Zr2+ and one Cd2+ atom. The Pt–Cd bond length is 2.77 Å. Cd2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms.
