Materials Data on CoBr by Materials Project
Abstract
CoBr crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of one CoBr ribbon oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Co1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Br1- atoms. Both Co–Br bond lengths are 2.25 Å. Br1- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co1+ atoms.
