Title: Materials Data on MnZnPt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

MnPt2Zn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MnPt2Zn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mn2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Mn–Pt bond lengths are 2.32 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mn2+ and one Zn2+ atom. The Pt–Zn bond length is 2.42 Å. Zn2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms.
