Title: Materials Data on EuCu3Pd2 by Materials Project

Abstract

EuCu3Pd2 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent Pd and twelve equivalent Cu atoms. All Eu–Pd bond lengths are 3.01 Å. All Eu–Cu bond lengths are 3.38 Å. Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Eu and six equivalent Cu atoms. All Pd–Cu bond lengths are 2.62 Å. Cu is bonded to four equivalent Eu, four equivalent Pd, and four equivalent Cu atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing CuEu4Cu4Pd4 cuboctahedra. All Cu–Cu bond lengths are 2.60 Å.
