Title: Materials Data on Rb3Ge by Materials Project

Abstract

Rb3Ge crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Rb3Ge ribbons oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Rb is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to two equivalent Ge atoms. Both Rb–Ge bond lengths are 3.90 Å. Ge is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Rb atoms.
