Title: Materials Data on La2AlZn by Materials Project

Abstract

La2ZnAl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2ZnAl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Zn and one Al atom. The La–Zn bond length is 2.75 Å. The La–Al bond length is 2.80 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
