Title: Materials Data on Zr2CdHg by Materials Project

Abstract

Zr2HgCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Zr2HgCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Zr is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hg and one Cd atom. The Zr–Hg bond length is 2.91 Å. The Zr–Cd bond length is 2.97 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms.
