Title: Materials Data on Te3Se by Materials Project

Abstract

Te3Se crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Te3Se ribbons oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Te+0.67+ is bonded in an L-shaped geometry to two equivalent Se2- atoms. Both Te–Se bond lengths are 3.08 Å. Se2- is bonded to six equivalent Te+0.67+ atoms to form distorted face-sharing SeTe6 pentagonal pyramids.
