Title: Materials Data on BeCrOs2 by Materials Project

Abstract

BeCrOs2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeCrOs2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Os2- atoms. Both Be–Os bond lengths are 2.28 Å. Cr2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Os2- atoms. Both Cr–Os bond lengths are 2.10 Å. Os2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be2+ and one Cr2+ atom.
