Title: Materials Data on LaCeNiPt by Materials Project

Abstract

CeLaPtNi crystallizes in the orthorhombic Amm2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt and three equivalent Ni atoms. All Ce–Pt bond lengths are 2.95 Å. There are two shorter (3.00 Å) and one longer (3.28 Å) Ce–Ni bond lengths. La is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Pt and four equivalent Ni atoms. There are one shorter (3.05 Å) and two longer (3.18 Å) La–Pt bond lengths. All La–Ni bond lengths are 2.99 Å. Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce, three equivalent La, and two equivalent Ni atoms. Both Pt–Ni bond lengths are 2.88 Å. Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Ce, four equivalent La, and two equivalent Pt atoms.
