Title: Materials Data on AlPd3 by Materials Project

Abstract

Pd3Al is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded to eight equivalent Pd and four equivalent Al atoms to form distorted PdAl4Pd8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PdAl4Pd8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent AlPd12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent PdAl4Pd8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent AlPd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent PdAl4Pd8 cuboctahedra. All Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.76 Å. All Pd–Al bond lengths are 2.76 Å. Al is bonded to twelve equivalent Pd atoms to form AlPd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent AlPd12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent PdAl4Pd8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent AlPd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent PdAl4Pd8 cuboctahedra.
