Materials Data on MnFe2Ge by Materials Project
Abstract
Fe2MnGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Fe2MnGe ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Fe atoms. Both Mn–Fe bond lengths are 2.48 Å. Fe is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mn and one Ge atom. The Fe–Ge bond length is 2.27 Å. Ge is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Fe atoms.
