Materials Data on EuMgTl by Materials Project
Abstract
MgEuTl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mg is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Eu and four equivalent Tl atoms. There are a spread of Mg–Eu bond distances ranging from 3.55–3.82 Å. There are a spread of Mg–Tl bond distances ranging from 2.96–3.10 Å. Eu is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Mg and five equivalent Tl atoms. There are a spread of Eu–Tl bond distances ranging from 3.46–3.52 Å. Tl is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Mg and five equivalent Eu atoms.
