Title: Materials Data on BeInPt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

BePt2In crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BePt2In ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Be–Pt bond lengths are 2.05 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be2+ and one In2+ atom. The Pt–In bond length is 2.58 Å. In2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms.
