Materials Data on Mg2CuAg by Materials Project
Abstract
Mg2AgCu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2AgCu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag and one Cu atom. The Mg–Ag bond length is 2.65 Å. The Mg–Cu bond length is 2.61 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
