Materials Data on Th4Al by Materials Project
Abstract
Th4Al is Iron carbide-like structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of eight Th4Al clusters. Th is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Al atom. The Th–Al bond length is 2.85 Å. Al is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Th atoms.
