Materials Data on CsRbI2 by Materials Project
Abstract
CsRbI2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CsRbI2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Cs1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent I1- atoms. Both Cs–I bond lengths are 3.59 Å. Rb1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent I1- atoms. Both Rb–I bond lengths are 3.41 Å. I1- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cs1+ and one Rb1+ atom.
