Materials Data on NaCa2Al by Materials Project
Abstract
NaCa2Al crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two NaCa2Al ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Na is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Both Na–Ca bond lengths are 3.60 Å. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Na and one Al atom. The Ca–Al bond length is 2.92 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
