Materials Data on CsGdTe4 by Materials Project
Abstract
CsGdTe4 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/nbm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cs1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Te1- atoms. All Cs–Te bond lengths are 3.96 Å. Gd3+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Te1- atoms. All Gd–Te bond lengths are 3.24 Å. Te1- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Cs1+, two equivalent Gd3+, and one Te1- atom. The Te–Te bond length is 2.82 Å.
